Fun Fufu Fries: Kids Will Love Them

Get kids to try something new! These Fufu Fries are fun to make and even more fun to eat. Serve with spicy ketchup.

Want to try some super cool fries that aren't made from potatoes? These are Fufu Fries, and they're made from something called fufu! Fufu is like a yummy dough made from plantains, which are like bananas but not sweet. It's a staple food in many parts of Africa and the Caribbean. It has a mild, slightly starchy taste, kind of like a potato. When you air-fry it, they have a crunchy outside and a soft inside, creating a texture that you won't find anywhere else.
